Snow Reports

The forest trails are situated about 5 miles west of Rhynie on the A941 Rhynie to Dufftown road. They are a joint venture between the Forestry Commission and  Huntly Nordic Ski Club, who maintain and groom the trails during the winter.  Further information on the Clashindarroch trails can be found on the British Nordic Ski Team Website.

Current Snow Report

Up to date snow reports for the Clashindarroch Forest Trails will be posted here when the snow arrives.  Please see below for archived snow reports.

When travelling to the Clashindarroch Forest, please use the car park opposite the main entrance.  Please can 4x4 cars park deeper into the car park, leaving the entrance for smaller vehicles.  Please do not park on the road or in the passing spaces on the road as this blocks access for locals and emergency services.
