The transition area is set up in the car park at the rear of the Deveron Community & Sports Centre, Registration is in the Deveron Community & Sports Centre main reception area.
The first run and the 2nd run follow the same route for both Sprint & Supersprint.
Sprint competitors should do 2 laps and Supersprint 1 lap run route map and follow the directions:
We will be starting at the Start flags and the hooter will start the race, Run up the bus lane joining the Pavement and up onto Whinhill Rd (beware of kerb joing pavement.) Then take a left into cementary lane (keep to the left). Follow the wall then take a left onto Colleonard Rd for approx. 300m then take a left into the school playing field and run in a clockwise direction following the cycle path around the park and return back to where you entered the park. Exit the park back onto Colleonard Rd for 50m then take a left into the alley and follow this until you exit, go left onto Bellevue rd in front of the school and follow this and take a left back onto Whinhill Rd. Run past the transition and continue to complete the same 2nd Sprint Only lap.
After completing the run enter triathlon through the RUN IN lane (Beware of cyclist coming out of transition) and across the blue timing mat follow the lane into transition.
Sprint competitors should do 2 loops of the Blue Route and Supersprint 1 loop Cycle Route Map and follow the directions:
Take a left onto Whinhill Rd and continue for approx. 3km (these are narrow country roads beware of oncoming traffic). After the 3km slow as you approach the crossroad. Take extreme caution crossing the crossroad and cross straight over. Continue on this road bearing right for 600m before turning left at the next Junction. Continue on this road for approx. 2km before again turning left. Continue up this road on its uphill drag where you will take a left heading straight for the wind turbines. This is a 2km downhill stretch please beware narrow winter road and slow when signs tell you too. You will reach the B9121 where you will take a left and bear left round the sharp corner(Beware of the Sharp corner). Continue for 1.5km back to the crossroads where you will take a left to start your second loop and complete the same course, (Sprint only) until you again reach the crossroads where this time you will take a right and travel the 3km back to transition. Slow and take a right back into transition. Dismount at the line and through the BIKE IN lane, across the matt and follow the lane back into transition.
Once you have completed your Bike, rack your bike and then repeat the run you have already done.
