Because of building works and alterations to the entrance foyer at Woodhill House, Aberdeenshire Council’s HQ, a decision has been taken to relocate The Rhynie Man sculptured stone. It has been moved (as of January 2026) to the entrance of Aberdeenshire Museums Service HQ in Mintlaw, where public access can still be facilitated. Public access times will be during staffed hours, that is Monday – Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
Address: Museums HQ, Station Road, Mintlaw, AB42 5EE
Parking is available in the yard outside the building, and the route to view the stone is fully accessible.
