Maud Railway Museum celebrates and promotes interest in the days when the railway line from Aberdeen to Peterhead and Fraserburgh was operating. The museum is housed in the former station buildings at Maud Junction and includes displays of railway history and memorabilia from GNSR to BR days.
Many visitors arrive by bicycle on the Buchan and Formartine Way, as the old railway track is now known, however we do have car parking facilities as well.
Opening times are once a month, from April to October, so please contact us at the museums service. Our museum staff will be more than happy to accommodate any visitors wishing to see the museum outside of prearranged dates.
