Library Relocates

Ballater Library has moved from it's former location within the V&A Halls to the rebuilt Royal Station just across the road. This has been a three year, multi million pound build and the Library now sits alongside Visit Scotland and the Princes Foundation. The Library is now open seven days a week which allows access on a Sunday. So if you are popping along for a coffee on the platform, why not pop in to the Library as well and pick up a book to chill out with the coffee and cake!

The Library now has an easy to use Self Service unit which means you can pick up items at any time during the day whether it is staffed or not ... it's never been easier to get something to read, listen to or watch for these cold winter months. Don't be caught out by the snow - get those books and audiobooks in now!

If you are looking for things to do around the area (or need a last minute gift), then look no further, Visit Scotland are ready to help.
