Joining Aberdeenshire Libraries is free and open to anyone who lives, works, or studies in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Angus, or Moray. All memberships are set up for a period of three years.
If you wish to access our physical resources you will need to provide proof of address (such as a driving licence, bill, etc), by visiting your local library.
If you prefer to use only our online resources, you can choose an Online Membership, which gives you immediate access to our Digital Library Services, including Libby, BorrowBox, uLibrary and PressReader. No in-person proof of address is required for online-only access, as this relates solely to borrowing physical items.
If you live in Perth and Kinross or Highland authorities you can use your existing library card through the One Card scheme.
You can register online or pop into your local library.
