The Creative Learning program offers a range of inspiring classes across Aberdeenshire's community centres, libraries, museums and schools. Subjects include creative writing, painting, upholstery, calligraphy and much more, from beginners to advanced levels. Classes generally run over 4 or 6 weeks and the new program is launched each autumn with information available in venues and online.
If you would like to try something new but don't want to commit to a full course, look out for our taster sessions held periodically throughout the year; in May, nearly 100 people took part in 8 free tasters as part of the Aberdeenshire Wellbeing Festival, including iPad movie-making, Indian cookery and watercolour painting, in Alford, Peterhead, Westhill, Banchory and Laurencekirk.
So if you fancy improving your skills and meeting some new people, watch this space for taster sessions and the 2019-20 program, due out in August.
